The Museum House situated in Church Street next to the old Synagogue forms the main part of the museum. The building of the house in the 1920’s was influenced by Edwardian architecture and all furnishings date back to the same period. The house is a replica of what a homestead would have looked like in the early 20th century and all the artefacts were donated for heritage purposes by families in and around Piketberg. Most of the current furniture was moved from the first museum with many new artefacts added over the years.
