The Herb Garden

The Herb Garden

Section Header Herbs are wonderful

in so many ways...

Their taste, smell, feel and texture, not to mention their many medicinal qualities.

In the early 2000’s the committee of Piketberg Museum decided to plant a Medicinal Herb Garden at the museum to give their visitors an experience of these qualities.

With the help of some local experts the Herb Garden was planted with various medicinal herbs endemic to the area of Piketberg. A visitor can browse through the garden and learn more about these special plants with the help of an information pamphlet and name boards at every plant.
